MCS Solution Reduces Building Operating Expenses by More Than 20%!
Our team completed an significant energy project in December of 2014. This was the largest energy conservation project supported by Tacoma Power in all of 2014. Since then, we have been carefully tracking the building operating expenses. Year to date results: We are on track to reduce operating expenses by more than $40,000 per year. This represents a 40% reduction in HVAC expense and over 20% of total building operating expenses, including lighting and plug loads. Now we are working on a new Premium Efficiency Project in Freemont. This new project promises to exceed Seattle City Energy Code by 250%!
