Travis Hull – President – CEO/Founder
In his role of President/CEO of Mechanical & Control Services, Inc, Travis is responsible for leading and developing the long-term strategy for the organization. Travis brings a vast knowledge, leadership, and passion necessary to fuel the continued growth, development and success of Mechanical & Control Services, Inc. Believing in the idea of surrounding himself with talented and passionate team members, allowing them to perform at their best each and every day. He has received several notable achievements since MCS’s establishment. In 2009 and 2010 Travis was selected as a recipient for the Puget Sound Business Journal 40 under 40 award. He currently sits on the ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Washington) Board of Directors as the Chair.
Angela Hull – Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Angela works closely with members of our leadership team to support MCS’ strategic direction. She supervises all financial operations for MCS, manages all banking and insurance relationships and oversees Human Resources functions. Before joining MCS, Angela worked in several finance and operational leadership roles during her fourteen years at Group Health Cooperative. Angela earned her MBA from the University of Washington. She also received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Accounting from Saint Martin’s University.
David Sterling – Director of Operations
With over 30 years of experience and leadership in the HVAC industry, David is responsible for the day-to-day operations of MCS. He supervises and leads the team of field technicians, CSR’s, and controls team. Under his leadership, MCS has increased the efficiency and performance as well as expanded the vision of the company. He believes the MCS team and customers are an extension of our families. If we are all treated with the respect, dignity, and care we require for our family members, who wouldn’t want to work with or for MCS?
Bill Derbes – Special Projects & Energy Services
Bill has been delivering high-value Industrial and Commercial solutions in the Pacific Northwest for 20 years. Bill is a Department of Energy qualified “Air Master” and has been contracted with the DOE to deliver “Save Energy Now” conservation assessments. In addition, Bill delivers MCS energy services and works closely with our local utilities to design and deliver economically feasible energy reducing solutions that often qualify for energy conservation grants.
Ted Hunt – Special Projects
Ted has over 25 years of experience in the HVAC industry. His experience, leadership, and development of design/build projects, retrofits, & construction management, has provided MCS with good solid best practices to be implemented in every construction or special project.
John Parks – Account Manager
As project manager, John is responsible for overseeing design, permitting, scheduling, and equipment procurement. He has over 20 years of experience in the industry working on multi-million dollar projects down to small tenant improvements. Timeliness and efficiency are qualities that John brings to the team.
Lisa Daniel – Account Specialist/Maintenance
Lisa joined the MCS Team in 2010. With over 12 years in real estate and property management industry, she has added knowledge and perspective to the team as well as helping to build the maintenance programs for MCS customers. Educating, understanding and ultimately assisting customers in making the best decisions for their assets. Representing MCS in several real estate organizations, she serves on committees and is an active participant of these groups to support the industry.
Megan Smothers – Customer Service
Megan came to MCS in 2015 and has been working in customer service her entire career with a background in nonprofit and sports management. A dedicated team member, Megan assists service technicians and has a passion for exceeding customer’s expectations.
Patty Mettler – Customer Service
Patty joined the MCS team in 2010. With many years in the concrete & HVAC industry, Patty is a wealth of information and experience. She is strategic in her thinking and works magic with the customers as well as the technicians.
Danelle Rempfer – Projects Coordinator
Danelle joined MCS in March of 2017. She has a background in government, legal, human resources, and event management. Danelle enjoys finding ways to streamline procedures to improve efficiencies creating a smoother process both for the company and the customer.
John Merrill – Project Engineer
John joined MCS in July of 2017. John works with our Project Team to assist in the design, management, and permitting of projects for our customers. He has a degree in the field of engineering and is passionate about providing innovative customer solutions.
