COMMERCIAL HVAC CONTROLS/SERVICE TECHNICIAN
As a Controls/Service Technician, you will perform HVAC control systems programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and preventative maintenance as it is related to mechanical, electrical, and low voltage components. You will support customers by programming temperature control systems based on project specifications. We are looking for a technician with excellent communication skills, energetic style, strong problem-solving abilities, effective interpersonal skills, and a customer service focus.
REQUIREMENTS
- Controls Technician – 2+ years of DDC/BAS control system start-up, checkout, and controls experience; and,
- Service Technician – 2+ years HVAC service experience or combination of formal technical training
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC, control systems, building automation, electrical systems, energy management, engineering, installation, and construction procedures.
- Able to use hand/power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as a multimeter.
- Solid knowledge base in the use of personal computers. Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Must be a self-starter, independent thinker, be able to maintain a positive attitude, and have the ability to problem solve.
- 06A Electrical License preferred
- OSHA Certification preferred
- Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and climb ladders
- Willing to work a flexible schedule (including some weekends and on-call)
- Have a Washington State Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record
- Complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings

PRIMARY DUTIES
- Represents the company by serving as the controls direct customer contact and is responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems at customer’s locations. Engage with customers to fully understand their systems and needs.
- Responsible for installing, programming, testing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, calibrating, operating, maintaining, start-up and commissioning, repairing HVAC/building automation control systems, and related software and hardware equipment.
- Responsible for system repairs and annual maintenance of controls systems for existing customers and recommending upgrading system and components when necessary.
- Programming and troubleshooting skill with Tridium, N4 and AX, and other equivalent systems.
- Perform calibration and check-out of control systems and ensure that specified sequence of operations and commissioning obligations are met.
- Develop graphical user interfaces when required for projects.
- Instruct customer’s personnel on operation and maintenance of temperature control systems and energy conversation routines.
- Advises leadership of additional sales potential.
- Keeps current on products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital controls systems.
- Communicate with Service Operations team efficiently and respectfully.
- Responsible for service calls: diagnosing and repairing systems and equipment at client’s location.
- Assist clients to understand requirements for all on-site repairs.
- Establish and maintain a positive relationship with clients.

- Service Technicians – 3+ years HVAC experience or combination of formal technical training
- We service boilers, chillers, cooling towers, circ pumps, VFD’s, VRF’s, WSHP’s, VAV’s, various controls systems, units 5-100+ tons
- Have EPA Certification and 06A Electrical License
- Able to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly and climb ladders
- Willing to work a flexible schedule (including some weekends and on-call)
- Have a Washington State Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record

- Pass appropriate background check

COMMERCIAL HVAC WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST
As the Warehouse Specialist, you will lead and perform various tasks related to accurate receipt, staging, storage, transfer, and delivery of HVAC equipment and supply. We are looking for a specialist with excellent communication skills, energetic style, strong problem-solving abilities, effective interpersonal skills, and a customer service focus.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of warehouse experience.
- Forklift experience required.
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proven ability to follow through on commitments and responsibilities.
- Have a Washington State Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record.
- Complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings.
- Pass appropriate background check.
- Knowledge and comfort level with computers is necessary.

PRIMARY DUTIES
- Primary contact for warehousing, customer service, and local transportation issues.
- Using material handling equipment, inbound and outbound shipments, loads and unloads trucks, locates and picks material into/out of warehouse racks and between locations, log inbound freight.
- Safely operates assigned material handling equipment. Ensures that all equipment in use has been inspected and is in safe operating condition. Reports all accidents and unsafe conditions to supervisor.
- Identify tag, stocking and arranging of product to ensure most efficient use of warehouse space.
- Ensures accurate part numbers, quantity, and other data to track when all materials are received for a project. Resolves discrepancies with material quantities, part numbers, etc.
- Ensures equipment and materials received are not damaged.
- Manages returns for all departments placed in returns area of warehouse.
- Satisfies needs of internal customers to include timely delivery or removal of designated materials to or from the supported location. Delivers high priority materials ahead of routine materials previously requested.
- Practices safe material handling techniques.
- Completes training as required, including safety training, certification, and testing.
- Reinforces culture of safety by utilizing all appropriate resources to safely perform all functions of the job.
- Responsible for organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Performs housekeeping as assigned in office as needed.
- Assist in annual warehouse inventory. May be required to purchase warehouse supplies to maintain the building.
- Communicate with the team efficiently and respectfully.
